Hello, my name is Kim Sasaki ❤ – a writer by day and book addict always. I enjoy reading mystery thrillers, true crime, and on occasion, horror. I also love reading fantasy and middle-grade fiction.
In 2019, it is my goal to rediscover the classics and to catch up with what I’ve been missing my whole life. Read With Kim is where I write about my literary adventures and my thoughts on the book I’m currently reading (Warning: I can be brutal about books I don’t like)

- I am Filipino-Chinese and I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. At the age of 23, I moved to Japan as a student and in 2018, I married my wonderful Japanese husband.
- I speak 4 languages: English, Tagalog, Japanese, and Chinese. I sometimes read books in these languages. I’m not fluent in Japanese and Chinese just yet, but I try.
- Whenever I am not reading or writing, I enjoy cooking, photography and crafting. I also like traveling, enjoying tea time with friends, and going to the theatre.
